My name is Alex Savage and I’m originally from the South-East. I was living in Atlanta, GA before moving to Southern California in June 2008. I had a full time job which I quit in January 2010 to embark upon a bouldering road trip for the remainder of 2010 and beyond. First stop is Fontainebleau, France where I plan to stay and climb for about six weeks. I don’t have a set schedule for Europe but I know I will be there for four months before flying to South Africa for the summer (their winter). I will get to enjoy the Rocklands for three months before returning to the States in August. I plan to continue traveling around the US for at least six months or until I run out of money. 2010 will be a good year!
I’ve been climbing for eight years and just recently started capturing video. I started this site to share my videos and experiences which I hope will inspire others to get outside and climb amazing boulders!
